Academic Affairs Dean

Paramed College has been established in 1999 E.C in Southern Nation, nationalities and people Regional State, Gamo Zone.  The college is situated in Arba Minch town which is 505kms far away from Addis Ababa, the national capitol, and 250 km away from Hawassa, the regional capital. The college is located on roads to Arba Minch Airport and Arba Minch Crocodile Ranch in an area of 6000 meter square by the Kulfo River. The college is one of the fastest growing private colleges in Ethiopia regarding the number of fields of study, academic staffs, technical, and infrastructural capacities.

The college currently offers teaching and research services in various programs ranging from diploma to master’s program, in different disciplines in the domains of social and natural sciences. One of the departments in the social science domain is management which has been producing qualified graduates in management in regular, evening, summer and distance programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Currently the department hosts more than one thousand students in regular and evening programs. Fortunately, because of fast growing economy and ongoing globalization pressure, there is more demand for highly qualified human resources. To this end, the government has been signaling academic institutions to launch postgraduate programs. Following the demand and summon from the government side, Paramed college started masters of business administration (MBA) three years ago. Three batches got graduated from the college in those Masters programs.

I have joined the college in 2015 E.C. Since then the college has gone through different milestones in the academic continuum.
